Linux LVM/dmraid simple how to

 

Esiteks loome lvm manageri jaoks füüsilised kettad.

[root@localhost ~]# pvcreate /dev/sda6 /dev/sdb /dev/sdc /dev/sdd

Physical volume “/dev/sda6” successfully created

Physical volume “/dev/sdb” successfully created

Physical volume “/dev/sdc” successfully created

Physical volume “/dev/sdd” successfully created

Järgmiseks loome volumegrupi:

[root@localhost ~]# vgcreate vg1 /dev/sda6 /dev/sdb Volume group “vg1” successfully created

Viimaks loome loogilise grupi 🙂

[root@localhost ~]# lvcreate –name lv1 –size 500G vg1 Logical volume “lv1” created

Esiteks on tarvis luua dmaraid. Listi kasutatavatest ketastest saab

[root@bacula hpt374]# dmraid -r
